DIVISION DESCRIPTION:
The Acquisition Management and Integration Center (AMIC) exists to provide services acquisition solutions for Air Combat Command (ACC), the largest of the Air Force’s Major Commands. With an acquisition portfolio of more than $20 billion, AMIC’s mission is to provide responsive, cost-effective, and mission-focused acquisition support to our mission partners. AMIC Det 2 is located at the headquarters of 16AF at JBSA-Lackland, Texas, and provides the mission focused business and acquisition support needed to accomplish 16AF's cyber and ISR mission. AMIC Det 2 is also the designated acquisition office supporting the AF Intelligence Community and sponsored partners conversion to the cloud at the classified level.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The duties of this position include providing mission-focused business leadership and contract execution/administration support for Intel and cyber-related service and commodity acquisitions to various 16AF mission partners. Selected team member will serve as a contracting officer with delegated contracting authority to solicit contractual proposals - ultimately responsible to negotiate, award, execute, administer and terminate contracts. Key responsibility of this position is developing and defining acquisition strategy via executing the multi-functional team (MFT) concept.
POSITION TASKS:
-Serves as a contracting officer with delegated contracting authority to solicit contractual proposals and ultimately negotiate, award, execute, administer and terminate contracts

PKS Division Description:
As a division PKS focuses on three primary areas of responsibility: policy, training, and reviews and business advice. PKS provides current, well-researched contracting guidance to the AMIC workforce, while representing AMIC/PK’s interest to Air Combat Command through cross-sharing and enterprise and organizational analyses of AMIC’s complex services acquisition portfolio. The division also focuses on the professional growth of the AMIC contracting workforce and contributes to acquisition training for the rest of the center, targeting enhanced job knowledge and critical thinking skills to support the very diverse AMIC acquisition mission set. Position Description:
This position is an integral part of experienced senior procurement analysts that are geographically located at Langley AFB, Tinker AFB, Joint-Base San Antonio, and Patrick SFB. The individual works closely with AMIC/PK and the MFTs to ensure AMIC's contracting processes and documentation are aligned to best practices, regulation/policy, and sound business decisions. In addition, this position works closely with the AMIC cost/price analyst and contracting system administration areas of responsibility.
Position Tasks:
· Serves as a business advisor providing advice and guidance to contracting officials, program officials, commanders, and other senior personnel on a wide range of acquisition, procurement, and contractual issues.
· Researches, interprets, analyzes and applies procurement guidelines, policies, regulations, impacting a cross-section of programs including acquisition category (ACAT) I, IA, and II designated (DoD and AF-level) programs and/or operational contracting (AF-level) programs.
· Establishes metrics and analysis systems to ensure actions are timely and reviewed at critical points.
· Performs self-inspection and presents detailed quality resolution of discrepancies.

PKF Division Description:
PKF supports a diverse range of programs for United States Air Force Central Command (USAFCENT) and provides cradle to grave contract execution and management. Our mission is to provide dynamic acquisition solutions and advice to enable the USAFCENT mission to deliver decisive air, space, and cyberspace capabilities for the United States Central Command (USCENTCOM), ally nations, and America. PKF is made up of three Branch’s PKFA, PKFB, and PKFC all branches support programs valued in excess of $1B. These branches are led by a Branch Chief and are made up of Lead Contracting Officer position and approx. 6 Contract Managers per branch.
Position Description:
This position serves as the PKFA branch chief. In this capacity the employee will serve as a Contracting Officer and a supervisor of a team of contract specialists and a Contracting Officer. This branch consists of several programs which include AFCENT Communications and Technical Support Services program (CTSSV), Network Operations and Security Center (NOSC), the Combined Air Operations Center (CAOC) and professional service programs throughout the CENTCOM AOR. Will serve as an Unlimited Contracting Officer and is required to obtain an unlimited AF warrant within 12 months.
Position Responsibilities:
